Poetry-Poem-Set You Free

Set You Free

You gave me your stength

now I give it back

Patience, my friend

the one thing I lack.

You gave me your laughter

I let it go free

My heart was torn

with pain and misery.

You gave me your time

It was never enough

the days were so long

the nights were so tough.

You gave me your hand

but I couldn't take it

you couldn't hang on

I couldn't fake it.

You gave and gave

so generously to me

now I give it all back

I set you free.

Beautiful, sometimes the best way to show love, is to step back and let others go, a lovely poem

Sometimes the things we set free come back to us. A very writing job.
