Sincerity of Irritation

You opened your mouth...

louder then words I heard intent...

but words didn't match intent...

I gandered a pass to express what I knew...

only to find a plug stopped the way...

I tried to push through...

speaking all the louder...

it didn't matter...

words became confusion...

A fool I am that way...

trying to speak when there is mud in the way...

earth's finest clay...

good for much else...

mixes with earwax and cant be unstuffed...

I understand now the anger with that stuck in there...

in dumbfounded amazement I stair...

as bees come out to sting...

my charitable attempt a waste...

Why do I bother talking to paste...

always the same result...

insanity by name...

I care for the stings...

I hurt for the mind dying inside...

naught to feed but to eat at its own self...

a broken record, scratched to discard...

someone once noble for me to bereave...

snot and saline staining my sleeve....

How do I get in this mess you might ask?

If futile my effort is a well worn path...

I can't remember when this wasn't the way...

but my Father asked it of me...

so in that path I must stay...

I would rather laugh then shed many more tears.

Excuse my effrontery, I am ever sincere...

truthful to the last though it all might seem relative...

I can't see it that way and won't till the end...

don't ask me to break or bend to the masses...

In the name of my truth I will make many more passes...

Now I can't laugh forever...

so here in the cold...

my heart sheds a tear for being too bold.

KC,

This is your way; you create beautiful prose, what better way to show frustration and anger with finesse and beauty over brawn and banter? This is terrific. Happy Thanksgiving.

You are right, these emotions did work for better pros then lay expression. I may consider that in future.
