Skate - An Original Poem By S

When I skate

My skates exhilirate

And I forget about the state

Of the good or bad of the world or it's fate

When I skate

I rise above

Because skating is what I love

And no one can bring me down if they're talking some lame ol' jive

Because I am happy to be alive

When I skate

When my skates touch the floor

I don't feel any pain anymore

I feel free

And everything is great

When I skate!

I know the feeling of being free when skating. That was one of the things i loved the most. Thank you for taking me back to my fun times on a Saturday afternoon... loved this...
