Snowshoes and Pine Trees ......

As I look off to the White mountains of theĀ
forests I'm taken ..... by the winter solitude
The snow line that decends down the side of granite
In eventual victory ......of wind driven quietude

Therein lies a need of mine ...the ever
changing landscape
If we expect life to remain the same
our visions not that great

Some of us though ......need visual sameness
anchoring our souls in the presence
My inner being speeds away beyond me
too essence

My Body in the here and mind
in some distant day
Or back in the past of memories trying to
point out my way

Once in awhile though theres a quiet......
serene connection
Living well within the new moment
peace in the quiet protection

And I am one ....with me .

Tis a beautiful feeling to be one with me, I often reflect back to my youth and feel the loss of boyhood to things I had no control over.

I now as age comes forth become more seduced by mother nature and what she offers. Peace and serenity. Enjoying the moment as I walk the quiet paths of solitude, yet can close my eyes and bring back yesterdays of greatness.

Ahh Saddleman you are a treasure and your contributions to others , don't ever forget that! We must be related in our past somewhere, "Natures serenity".....I love it. Thanks once again for reading.

To be one with you and with the nature around you is indeed a blessing and your picture for this and the words you have crafted here echo that oneness... I like this very much.

Peace to you my friend!
