Song Lyrics - Why You Complainin'?

I just heard from another friend
Somebody they loved had died
There’s sadness every time I turn around
I didn’t know what to say even though I tried

I get tired of all the complaining
By people who have it made
You’d think they never had a blessing
You’d think they didn’t know they were saved

Why you complainin’
When God saved a place for you?
Why you complainin’
When he’s been so good to you?
Why you complainin’
You’d think you got no soul
Why you complainin’
I just want to know
I just want to know

So you don’t think you make enough money
What about the guy who’s on welfare?
You don’t like what your wife served for dinner
What about losing her because of no health care?

Maybe we need to stop looking in the mirror
We don’t seem to change anyway
We’re supposed to judge ourselves
Instead we just smile our faults away

Why you complainin’
When God left the light on for you?
Why you complainin’
When his promises are true?
Why you complainin’
You’d think you got no soul
Why you complainin’
I just want to know
I just want to know

This was beautiful, but sad. It is so true too. There are so many people suffering and the ones you hear complaining are the ones who usually appear to have it all. Rememebr though, just because it appears perfect doesn't mean that it is. Good Job and Great word usage!

@Kristin - Thank you... this was inspired by the death of my friend's wife; they went through hell with her cancer and then she died. I guess I felt terrible for them and then heard someone at my office complaining about the ice-maker being broke... it kind of made me sick you know?
