Sparkling Water (poem)

Water or Love

Oh stranger turn and safely walk away

Don’t let the flowers aid to cloud your view

The sparkling waters means the end of you

No matter what your growing thirst may say

It seems to be so beautiful so true

How could such clarity conceal dismay

The sparkling waters drift a soul astray

Oh stranger turn away before you’re through

He’s captivated by its welcome glow

He can’t contain its call upon his heart

The song of sparkling waters start to rise

The tears from flowers soon begin to show

As lip and water could not stay apart

And by the sparkling water young man dies

So beautiful and sad. I had to read it twice because the words were so beautiful. Rated up.

Voted up and awesome. Wonderful poem. As I was reading I was thinking of just that song Cool Clear Water and there it was. Super.
