Spark's Birth and Fire's End

Getting

out of her car

she stepped outside

and smiled,

his every wall fell

every hope rose

she was like

a thornless rose

an innocent embrace

nervous jitters

searching for a way

to break the ice

as they were meeting

for the first time

~~~
Driving
down the road
feeling beside himself
with his passenger
sitting beside him
conversation ensued
sparks were flying
smiles widening
eyes sparkling
forcing himself
to watch the road
for his gaze
was drawn
magnetically
to the brilliance
the radiance
of her eyes
her face
~~~

Sitting

across from her

at a dimly lit table

trying to play it cool

but simply unable

trying to pretend

he wasn’t already

lost in her

wanting her

craving her

body and mind

~~~
Grazing
lips created
a scene
from a dream
and everything
fell into place
romance’s currents
flowed throughout
their hearts beat
in elevated unison
like never before
in either’s lifetime
~~~

Playing

in the living room

transitioned to

pleasures

in the bedroom

they melted together

like scented candles

in desire’s fire

his back, a canvas

her nails brushing

welcoming wounds

the artistry

of ecstasy

released in full

consuming the sheets

igniting the room

love’s first spark

born all too soon

~~~
Laying
Breathless
In stillness
Fingers
Gliding
Over skin
So Sensitive
Gazing
In loving
Timeless
Moments
Long gone
Passing
Memories
Of spark’s birth
And fire’s end
~~~

saddle - I do feel like I am getting more of a feel for it every day. It seems to come more naturally than ever. The comments and views I am getting are just too wonderful.

Thank you

Such magnitude erotica in a sense, I felt I've been there done that. I felt waves of romance sweep through the air and land on my soul. Oh remembering those youthful days I played the game and the flames were passion and romance with the scent of a woman by my side. Thank you Ben for some memories.

This is one of your best, you are moving along at a steady pace with rich text and verse. Bravo

always exploring - I captured it because I was telling my own story, which helps haha. Thank you very much

Mark - I really loved that part as well. I agree, this one really sucked me in, and I have enjoyed the response to it. Likewise, I am honored to be compared to you, because you write with POWER. Thanks a lot for checking this out man

I particularly like this part... sweet pain... the blood of love and lust...

As for the poem itself it is a story and I just think this style keeps the reader engrossed as each line hits with the right impact and it's brevity leaves the reader wanting more... so they read and read and soon they have become you... the protagonist...

I'm honored by any comparison to a gifted writer... you have your whole life ahead of you and I'm sure we will see much art coming from your open heart.

The development of the theme is masterly, Ben. The culmination always depends on the groundwork, and you did this more than adequately.

You've been experimenting with a very sparse style and I like it -- makes each word so valuable.

My comment regarding Suburban Poet IS a compliment. He has an ebb and flow to his work that waltzes to it’s conclusion. Honestly, you are much deeper than I, so sometimes, like a submarine drawn to deep, I implode before reaching the bottom. That has more to do with me than your writing. You are talented, and have a future guiding your readers to new levels.

Ellie - WOW, that's such a great comment :D thanks a bunch! I really wanted to convey the process of love and passion, beginning with the first date, until the first time in the bedroom. This was written with a strong memory of both...

Thanks for the flattery :]

Oh my gawd! I love this one. Tis spicy, yet sweet. The words, the rhymes, the story of it. This is truly amazing, Mr. Writings. Outstanding and fantastical. (I'm having fun throwing adjectives at you now, they're all true though, so enjoy) xD

*Goes back to read it an eighth time*

mckbird, thank you. Just curious, why do you compare it to his writing? I take that as a compliment, but just wondering what you mean. :]

I think you have given Suburban Poet a run for his money with this one BenWritings.

You miss these moments when they are gone.
