A Special Song (poem)

Come sit with me and share a special song

About the lover’s garden we have spun

Where all the precious flowers there begun

And kisses cast in dream could Joy prolong

A song to spread our rainbow past the sun

A tune to tell enchantment wasn’t wrong

The light of lasting love still lingers strong

Across time’s streams when melodies are done

Before we slip in things which may compile

The etchings of a day not meant to last

Those moments tracing faces in the skies

Come sit with me and spread this precious while

And sip in memories our kisses cast

While sharing love song captured in our eyes

It is difficult to find the right words to describe not only your lovely poetry but the feelings it invokes.

Voted up, awesome, and beautiful.

How can we know, a love ever so brief was nevertheless, meant to be.

Oh, so beautiful and romantic. Love the addition of the Nat song. It's a great background sound as I re-read your poem.

Thanks for sharing this with us, and have a great day.
