Star-Crossed Hearts (A Poem)
Moonlight and magic, spins its web.
Thoughts of you,
Flow and ebb.
A shooting star,
Seen in your eyes,
A softly veiled, hidden smile.
Feeling your lips caress every word.
So much closer,
To your web I've been lured.
Your back against my chest,
Your hair falls out of place...
A kiss on your neck,
My hand touches your face.
As the sun sets into the ocean...
Can you feel my heart beating?
As my hands move down and around your waist,
I can hear your breathing.
Oh, the magic in the silvery stars,
The sound of the crashing ocean wave,
As the moon shines for us tonight.
Ourselves to each other, we gave.
Shame on the night!
And it's magic and moonlight.
Two souls that have found each other.
Two star-crossed hearts, stolen in the night
