Stay In Motion

Depressing News Hurts

Your sad and feeling blue

Don't let things bother you

Life is not as easy as copying a pattern

The same steps maybe taken

The results are different because the situation is different

People we meet respond differently

We must learn and adapt

Even bad things can bring about the goodness that lies deep within

Each day is up to us to make the right choices

Deciding on improving our life in small ways

Works effectively and gracefully

Some people and animals do things instinctively

Who is to blame ?

It is what they know

If we focus more on our lives

Not worrying about others

We will be better off

Progress comes in all shapes and forms

Like playdough

Have fun molding it many different ways

In just a short time

You can have amazing results

Maybe we can all learn to be more flexible

In that way we can bend with the blowing wind

Instead of breaking into pieces

So take a good look at what you do

Not only see with your eyes

Look a little deeper

Into the moment

That is all ours

I just read your comment on the Mailbag....I've been working in the real world the last two days, so I just got around to it...so many questions in that comment, and so many kind things.....thank you so much for that. I'll answer some of the questions in Monday's mailbag. As for this poem...my dad told me "shit happens; it's your job to wade through it until you come to high ground." I think you understand.

Have a great weekend!

billybuc I can't think of a time you weren't busy. When I see the comments from all your followers it's like following Santa's good list of all the writers who do what they do because of their own passion and desire. Not money, fame or greed. You bring out the best of the best. Each writer not in competition with each other but joined together at the hips with not just one writer but us all. Learning from you. Guiding others on the right path. Even if some are just beginning ( like myself) you have always given me your patience and time. Thank you for that. I loved your answer and your dad had a great answer. Life can get hectic and overwhelming. That's when I dive deeper and see if there is beautiful coral at the bottom. More often than not it's seaweed. It never stops me from grabbing one big handful. One day I might be surprised to see something different. For now I tell you about my struggles, bumps in the road. Do you smell what I smell. Sweet success. It is wild and can't be tamed. Fun loving and giving. Quiet and a little shy. I hope your healthy and happy. Soon everything else seems to fall into place. I like to think life is one jigsaw puzzle. We all get to join in.

Your poem has special meaning for me at this time. My hubby's daughter's grandma has a skin disease and she was placed into a special hospital for infectious diseases. Since the old woman is blind as well his daughter Mara now has to go to the hospital every day to be sure that grandma is alright and fed. For a young woman in here twenties this is a most difficult and disciplinary period because she would of course rather do her own things and be with her boyfriend. I say it is wonderful that she is doing this but when we speak to her I hear the tiredness in her voice as she heads home each evening but at least her loving dog Marco is always waiting as well as her boyfriend which I know helps a lot. The results of her analysis will only be coming in at the end of next week. After all are doctors and laboratories ever in a hurry? and as you see I myself have fallen behind the times again and am struggling to catch up. Where does the time go? Hope your weekend will be sunny and bright.

Gypsy Rose Lee Please let me know how Hubby's daughter's grandma makes out ?Anytime there is a family member that is sick or needs help it's important to do what is necessary. Many times in the past I had to drop everything to do what I had to do. I learned as much as I lost time or put off things that I really wanted to do but couldn't it always worked out for the best. I felt good about myself and I know I made many people happy. I do what I can each day and don't add any pressure or stress if things don't get done. Life is meant to be enjoyed now not later. Thank you for sharing your story and I really appreciate you taking the time to read my hub. Hope your Sunday turns into a fun day.
