Poem: Stitched Lips
Poems by Magic<8>Ball
Stitched Lips
Captured by suffocated expressions of discontent,
Held nose to the brimstone of shame,
Churning,
Wanting,
Yearningfor relieved indifference,
Holding to the promise of self reclaim.
Searching for the life preserver,
The metaphoric preserver of life mine,
Whilst I change or ingest deathly monotony,
Still choosing eliptical patterns in time.
Come find me beneath the broken shadow,
Where I lay feeling torn an ill equip,
Underwater face down I lay,
Praying for tomorrow this, a new day
Where I may rise to tear free these stitched lips
