I will never return there.....

In strange moods and silent
In patterns of chaotic
Through membranes I tried to reach
out from an all but blurring vision
All though a stunning performance
in retrosplect ......though we all must
have flourished some in pain
Nourished as well
and yet .....fed from hell
And yes........
I grew to love the rain
Yet now..... all storms have passed
at least for awhile..........
One wish though
silence from
unmoving lips
Please god .....don't
send me back
Not there
not there..........

Beautiful poem and a beautiful picture. The title sounds somewhat nostalgic, but the poem does not.

Such lovely words. Voted up and beautiful. Isn't it great to have peace of mind at least for awhile if not forever.

It must have been a painful past, not wanting to return there. Your words described the past pains and storms so splendidly. Sometimes it's hard to face the past.

This is amazing! I suppose my poetry professor would have called it a "tone poem" or "mood poem." To me you have done a masterful job of creating a mood without in anyway conveying any concrete action. Very impressive. I really like this. SHARING
