Sweet Love Quotes
The Sweetest Love Quotes
Here is a collection of sweet love quotes that I have gathered over the years. The most important thing to remember when reading love quotes is that love is not always romantic love and can instead speack of the love between friends, parents and child, sisters and brothers, and for other people in general.

"A kiss makes the heart young again and wipes out the years." - Rubert Brooke
"If you judge people, you have no time to love them" - Mother Teresa
"I Have found the paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love." - Mother Teresa
(I enjoy quotes by Mother Teresa so much I have a hub dedicated solely to her. Check it out Here)
"If you would be loved, love and be lovable." - Benjamin Franklin
"Can miles truly separate you from friends...If you want to be with someone you love, aren't you already there?" - Richard Bach
"When love's well-timed 'tis not a fault of love; The strong, the brave, the virtuous, and the wise sink in the soft captivity together." - Joseph Addison
"When love is not madness, it is not love." - Pedro Calderon de la Barca
(How could it be put any better! I think this pretty much sums up any kind of love. Love surely does make one take leave of their senses - especially the common one. ;) )
"When you're in love you never really know whether your elation comes from the qualities of the one you love, or if it attributes them to her; whether the light which surrounds her like a halo comes from you, from her, or from the meeting of your sparks." -Natalie Clifford Barney
(This one can be a bit confusing due to the dated language. Basically what she is saying is that when you are in love, you are uncertain whether your love comes from the good qualities of the one you love or if the fact that you love them is what makes their qualities seem so good. Consider the people you have known who are in relationships that make no sense to you and their reply is 'You don't know her/him the way I do')
"Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies." - Aristotle
"People who are sensible about love are incapable of it." - Douglas Yates
"Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." - Albert Einstein
(I also created a hub on Einstein quotes. Check it out.)
"Love does not consist in gazing at each other but in looking outward together in the same direction." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery
"Love is an act of endless forgiveness." - Peter Ustinov
