RED ALERT WARNING TO ALL

A WARNING TO EVERYONE who might make the same following mistake~

{{{{Be cautious what you download like movies or music}}}}~

Read the following lesson/prayer and see why I warn you.

THE PRAYER REQUEST and LESSON for ALL

OK~~

FRIENDS~~~

Time to Feed the SPIRIT~~~~

But first everyone~~~

I am asking you to pray for one of my FACEBOOK friends I know in person.

I know this friend as a wonderful young man with dreams and goals to be in the medical field, and when I met him I was impressed by his wonderful character!

Being so awed on what a nice man he is, brings me to this point to be so concerned for his well being.

This young man has been arrested by the FBI for downloading music for personal use off an FBI site on the computer.

OK ~ I understand there should be a consequence to this activity, but the severity of these consequences to this nice young mans life is what concerns me most!

I heard he is facing up to 5 years in prison for downloading music?

Pardon me “but what the heck?”

In my opinion we have people out there that are real criminals, from home invasions to all sorts of awful crimes that barely get a slap on the wrist?

I think it is outrageous that the FBI is going to ruin this young mans life, putting him through all the horridness of court, attorney expenses, stress, family worry, not to mention prison time!

I know in my logical and practical mind that this strong armed drastic punishment from the FBI is wrong!

I can assure you and the FBI that with a minor warning this good young man would never do this sort of thing again!

PLEASE JOIN ME IN PRAYER for this young man to have a fair and reasonable consequence for this mishap and his life will not be ruined to take a spin in another direction from down loading music for his personal use only.

I mean it could happen to any of us?

These sites are so tricky and I would put this in a category of harmlessness and should be just a lessoned learned for this nice young man.

SORRY I rambled on about this subject, but where is the common sense of the FBI and the judicial system?

Let us pray for fairness, reasonable thinking, and rational results from all authorities in this unfortunate case.

Thank you friends and Thank you LORD GOD… AMEN

The following just happens to be the verse that came up for today.

I think it sounds appropriate for this particular subject. ENJOY!

THE VERSE FOR TODAY

James 1:12

Contemporary English Version (CEV)

Trials and Temptations

12 God will bless you, if you don’t give up when your faith is being tested. He will reward you with a glorious life, just as he rewards everyone who loves him.

AMEN!!!

I pray all you dear people have a wonderful DAY!!! GOD Bless!

Lisa, while I agree that 5 years seems a ridiculous punishment, it is clearly stated everywhere that ilegal downloading is just that....illegal. In addition, many of those files ae corrupt and can ruin your computer. Would you consider shoplifting a crime, because that is what illegal downloading is. If books, music and photos are for sale, how is taking them ok? BTW, the same goes for pictures used on hubs. They must be used with permission snd credit given or that is stealing. I a sorry for your friend and hope it goes easily for him.

But why ruin a young mans total life? With a federal offense that would cause him never to be employed? How does that help society? Shoplifting I do believe they get a slap on the wrist for also. He is only 20 if that? We know that young men don't think clearly until they are much older. I would not back him unless I thought he was worth saving or would be a good contributer to society. Thank you for your opinion btrbell ... You did say it very nicely.

Powerful and good on you Lisa for sticking up for your friend. If your justice system is anything like ours then someone who commits a trivial offence will very often be sentenced more severely than someone who commits a far more serious offence. I hope all goes well for him. Lots of love for you my caring friend from Wales.

Eddy.

Yes, that is ridiculous punishment. It does bring to mind one question did that site have no warning about it not being allowed to download this music for personal use. If that is the case then the FBI has made a mistake themselves.

Lisa, please understand, I am not judging. I think that the FBI being involved and the possibility of 5 years in prison is absolutely ridiculous. I also agree thatthe punishment should fit the crime. My concern lies in the fact that there is so much emphasis on his being treated unfairly, not on the reason why this is happening. I wonder and fear how the FBI comes about this knowledge (another good hub topic) as your young friend is only one of millions of people who download illegally.

I do, sincerely, wish him only the best and hope your message will help others from getting into the same position.

btrbell I understand your point and I do agree with you also. Hopefully the sentence will be fair and his record can be ex-sponged someday so he has a chance to right his wrong and keep positive enough to continue on to become the productive man in society he hoped to be. That is what I pray. So very nice of you to visit again... May you have a wonderful day!!!

Gypsy Rose Lee I do wonder that myself. LOL What is the FBI doing with all that music ? Did they have permission for it all? Isn't there something like entrapment that comes in to play also? Who knows? That is why I also pray everything happens in the future fairly... Thank you for stopping by! Wishing you a grand day!

Seems a bit harsh a sentence for downloading music off the sight. Very sad. I pray this young man does not have to suffer from such an injustice. Everyone deserves a second chance. As for the FBI, they often download our personal postings, etc. -- when do they get fined?

Sadly, we have all made stupid mistakes from time to time, but the crime should really fit the punishment, I agree.

Often the punishments seem lop-sided.... Thank you aviannovice... May you have an awesome day!
