Take my hand and Lead me

Lead me Home

Dark night wanting to find my way,

but I am lost and lead astray.

The silence found me once again

I don't think I can breathe.

I hope you understand.

I want to find my way back home.

Searching for a savior to come

save me.

All I know is that I have been

lost for so long.

Please take my hand

and lead me home.

The distance tears me apart.

I knew from the start that

the grass is never greener on

the other side.

This new found life

leaves me feeling so cold.

Can anyone hear me?

Is anyone there?

I am knocking at your door.

Its late at night and I need

someone to help me find my way

I want to search for my home.

I thought I knew the way,

but he lead me astray.

I need your guidance.

A Savior to come save me from

the lack of love that I've been given.

Take my hand

and we will run through the night

and find a place the

lonely ones call home.

Very expressive. For some reason, we keep on getting lost in this maze that often accompanies relationships and life in general!

Wow, such evocative words, and the urgency in these words is palpable. Silence is always there, and we can interrupt it any time with our consciousness and our feelings put in to words, and so wonderfully expressed as you do here with your words, Chrissie.

If the grass is greener somewhere else, then that is the place to visit ... and to find out if it is true...

I think the world hears it and knows and listens ... and it hopes too. As long as there is belief in better things, there can always be hope. And if we get knocked down, we just need to get up and keep moving forwards, until we arrive. The secret is - we're never really alone to begin with - we only think it.
