Tears: A Poem
She cried a river of tears,
Streaming endlessly down her cheeks,
As loneliness covered her like a shadow,
But once her emotions ebbed,
And the river grew still,
She was not hollow anymore,
How strange that she would be quenched,
After emptying her soul of tears.
