Thank you fellow hubbers

I have been, all along, drifting in life

In its maze of alleys, roads, highways

Light, cold darkness, sun shines a rarity

Schools, colleges, Univ, Industry, Malls

Never felt at home, though kept searching on

Flowed along the currents, never swam

I knew they being too powerful

Than my inner drives, dreams and non existent goals

And the truth is that

I never came close to my dreams

In fact, all said and done, I had almost given it up

But a glimmer of hope refused to die

To get freedom and sunshine, some place, sometime

The way wind blows or the clouds thunder

The birds sway on the air swings

Or the mongrels make love in full view

Overwhelmed with maddening passion

But an accident happened

Caused by a great design, may be one of greatest

In the journey of humans since stone ages

By some great guys with amazing vision, grey matters

They demolished thousands years old barriers

Geographical, man made, socio-politico

Made the souls free to interact, mate

To feel the entire spectrum of experience, top to bottom

Of unadulterated, pure and pristine emotions

Yes! I am talking about the power of the Great

The World Wide Web, Internet

Which wires the mind to universal playground

Through a myriad of inventions, innovations, bits and bytes

I became a new Huber, a novice

Which gave me a space to roam around

The air to breathe

Not there all the while, gasping, suffocating, many a times

A network of fellow humans, identical souls

All of them same in many ways

Though dispersed, far and wide

Painted in different colors on the outside

Inside everything same

I started moving around the place

Felt the fragrance, beauty and charm

Got encouragements, warmth, from those

I do not know and will never be able to do so

But the power of their love and understanding

The hunger to share and to be shared

The pure empathy devoid of biases

Has done a kind of magic absent till now

Life is getting filled with spring

That warm breeze, rose smell, riot of colors

Yes! I having a ball with fellow Hubbers

Long live this community

Spreading the charm in all parts of the world

Many homes, high rises, bungalows or roofs thatched by sand

I came across Hubpages by accident and it has truly turned into a great blessing for me. I love the other writers, their stories, their poems, their insights I may not have seen or heard otherwise.

Great writing!

Nice, gary, the World Wide Web is perhaps one of the most important revolutions in man's history. (at least in the technological sense!) Great Hub!
