That Innate Spark

By Tony DeLorger © 2012

Love will always find a way,

if given a path of hope,

searching tirelessly to find that spark,

that sigh of acceptance.

Within us all the capacity to love,

to reach deeply into a soul,

and connect to that which makes us whole,

that which brings us to the understanding of oneness.

We are clothed with difference,

yet we are as one, in recognition of a loving heart,

the spark alive in each one of us to vision,

and to surrender to that stream of meaning we call love.

No matter who we are or what we do,

we are and can be the object of love,

with every soul on this earth,

yet we are lost in clothing, the soul in shadow.

Love is not an action but a way of life,

an openness to the potentials of our human kind,

ever-waiting to be realised, accepted,

in the light of truth and understanding.

What we have is a miracle of life, waiting to be expressed.

This really put an impact on me. I've been thinking about the subject of love for quite some time. I have to see, this piece gives me a bit more confidence about my own self worth. Perhaps I can be an object of love? This is one of the simplest things I've read by you. However, the meaning behind it is one of the strongest. Kudos, Tony. :)
