The Balance of Extremities

By Tony DeLorger © 2013

Tantamount to the fear in procreation,

is the love within my heart,

ready to accept life in the most pristine measure,

or even at its most tarnished.

Within me the battle of extremities,

the light and shadows the conflict of an open mind,

always willing for the play to ensue,

and the real and present truth of self revealed.

Without the judgement of a limited mind,

the deeds of men become undone in essence,

no longer melded to the righteous moralities of others,

and attuned to the very root of a soul.

Without the periphery of belief and ultimacy,

actions become pure in discipline,

unblemished by second hand suppression,

and alive in nature to manifest truth.

Within my heart, the love in radiation,

and the darkness in a cell of recognition,

balanced and understood within my souls eye,

and forever accessible in consideration.

What then ensues in my life,

follows a path of vast spectrum,

each act and response the balance of how I alone see it,

and without judgement accept the good with the bad.

Balance can't be sought without first accepting and understanding both extremes. Balance can't be obtained without self-discovery and the willingness to change.
