The Bi-Polar Life
The thought with this poem began with a concept I gained from a motivational speaker who said that our entire world of opportunity is always expanding- including to the extent of the polar opposite of our current state. This made me think of my life, as someone who struggles with bi-polar-type symptoms, and I realized that we all live in a bipolar world to some extent. That made me explore what it would be like without extremes, without opposites, and all in all without it being a Bipolar Life....

The desires of the flesh
The promised life
The highest flights
The brightest lights
The grandest sights
…All that surreal and vivid stuff?!
-beware- prepare to face:
The acid rain
The stunning pain
The hollow hope
The numbing sensation
The endless duration
.... For real surreal and vivid stuff!

The harshest extremes expand All limitations
The tightest restraints sweeten up liberation
The more time in mourning magnifies celebration
All the time wasted, falling, incubates elevation
A falling floor conversely raises the ceiling
The worst hurts always birth the best feelings
The deepest of cuts receive the most healing
Life finds it's level- Why doubt divine dealing?
The darker the night, the brighter the star
The higher the handicap the better the par
Pain that don't kill you just raises the bar
Bring on impossible- that's when miricles are

God hates to curse but He sure loves to test
Jesus won’t stand handouts but He sure loves to bless
The darker the Hell, the brighter the Heaven
The greater the drama, the greater the Hero
The deeper the hole, the greater the rise
The more bitter the battle, the sweeter the prize
The more dire the danger, the more fearless- more peerless
The most harrowing horror, the most moving story
The most sorrowful suffering, the most joyous glory
The rougher the waters, the more legendary
The longer the solidarity, the stronger love will be
The more dire the dilemma, the more angelic fame
The more numbing the shame, the more coming of age
The more certain the doom, the sweeter the salvation
The more repressing the oppression, the more reparation
The harsher the blow, the sweeter the next bliss
The most desperate desire, the most passionate kiss
The darker the stain, the more redeemed soul
The hotter the flame, the more purified gold
The colder the night, the warmer the embraces
The more blood I shed, the more Jesus replaces

The longer the odds the more greatness is inspired
The more beaten down the more strength is required
The more scars that i bear the more my faith is desired
The more that I lose, shows how much I've been given
The more blood I shed is just more proof I'm still livin'
The more that I'm doubted makes me even more driven
The more times I lose, the more I learn how to win
Each time that I can't, shows me just what I can
The more times I stumble- the more I can stand
The more hurdles that hinder me the more I'm over'em
The more haters accuse me, the more God overrules
The more obstacles I face the more I'll overcome
The Son of God conquered death and I'm Jesus' son
Even nailed to the Cross, Christ just said "It is done"
So F*ck you Luci! You know I already won!!!

But ain't no without, if 'I AM' is within

The Hell

The more evil the Devil, the more righteous my faith
The more amazing the price, the more amazing the Grace
The more cumbersome my cross, the more wonderful my Christ
The more my Hell on Earth, the more honor in Heaven
The more mercy needed, the more power given
The stronger my armor,
The longer my spear,
The sharper my sword,
The more possessed by the Ghost
The more protected by Hosts….
--and yet count it all loss--
....The weaker I am the stronger The Lord
