A Western Drama Filled With Action Packed Adventure

Rod Thompson’s grasp as a western writer will have you wanting more as you join young Cormac Lynch with his fight to protect his loved ones and conquer the western frontier one villain at a time. His journey begins after losing his family to the vicious hands of evil men and offering his own home to three people he dearly trust to make it their own. If you love western drama, you’ll love The Black Hills by Rod Thompson.

Quote from the cover: They took everything he had except his will to fight. The Black Hills not only captures the triumphs of good over evil, but enhances the force of survival for a young farmer left to fend for himself in the Dakota territories. Cormac Lynch is an experienced tator picker armed with a fast hand to hurry as he completes his work. This fast arm he developed proved to be his lifeline as he handled his side arms and an old rifle named Gert left by his pa. He killed men who done him harm. He protected the innocent who needed his help. This soon gave him a reputation throughout his travels west as a gunfighter not to be tangled with if one wished to live to tell about it.

Join Cormac Lynch on his journey.

His journey near the Black Hills brought attention to the natives there. They called him Two Horse. Their observation was right as his trusty companions were two large horses which he took turns riding to be sure of a fresh mount at all times. Named Lop Ear and Horse, they respected their rider every bit as much as he did them. To the people Cormac was to meet along the way, Mack Lynch became his preferred name.

If you like cattle drives and cowboy tales The Black Hills will bring you entertainment. The book ties in several dramas into one, making for one fine read. And if you’re looking for a love story, The Black Hills will give you that, too. Pick up a copy today for a western adventure bound to keep you entertained.

I've always enjoyed a good western drama. Any book that keeps me focused on it, is a good one as I've laid many down never to return to them for lack of interest. Thanks, Mhatter99, for the nice comment.

Your scrutiny is detailed yet so compact. I like your calculated usage of words.

Thanks, Deep Metaphysical. I am still learning about writing reviews. Although the author was pleased with this review, he asked me kindly to delete a couple of lines he thought was to much information. I'm glad I hadn't had many views yet before he saw it.
