The Cats On The Highway ( A Bit Of Nonsense)

I went to the corner

to get a good deal

the cats on the highway

said see brother Bill

the minute I got there

he started the shpeel

it smelled like a pizza

but was it for real

the cheese it was cheesy

and limp to the feel

I poke poked with my finger

it gave out a squeal

I see baloney

baloney I see

It looks like baloney

what else could it be

Bill he got ugly

He looked like he'd kill

anyone who said different

I should of kept still

I pulled out my glasses

and said, “if you will,

hand me that Windex

if your pizza's for real...

of course it s a pizza

you' know I agree

somehow I don't doubt it

and I always will”

It's a very amusing poem, Wrath. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I dig it. Need more poems about daily existentialist angst

I see what you mean, Dave Kat. It is like a parady, now that you mention it. Thanks.
