The Challenges of life ( a poem of inspiration)

The storms of life may be great...
The storms of life may be great...
We may weather every storm and grow stronger with each one...
We may weather every storm and grow stronger with each one...
With each new dawning we may greet the day with strongest hearts...
With each new dawning we may greet the day with strongest hearts...
Our trials and tribulations may be many...yet we may face every one with great boldness and determination...
Our trials and tribulations may be many...yet we may face every one with great boldness and determination...
Better days await us who are strong in faith...
Better days await us who are strong in faith...

The rolling thunder, to loudly crash, as the lightning's flash,

A howling wind, to accompany, all, as the tree limbs crash,

As so, the trials of life are many, and upon a greening earth,

How each fares, by remaining strong, is to decide our worth.

Ocean's waves do rage, and all to surge, far beyond the bow,

A tiny boat, still remains afloat, resisting the storms, some how.

Its sails are tattered, and its loosened ropes all hang untethered,

The hull still to be holding fast, though its boards are weathered.

Through trials, their challenges great, and as always, they persist,

Each temptation, ours not ever to give in, must everyone so resist.

Made stronger by those falls, as then, we may return to steady feet,

Our endurance, graced, by each attempt, all obstacles, to defeat.

The journeys of our lives, so wrought with worries, some so feared,

Everyone's ship on the oceans, wide, are not so easily to be steered.

As surely as a warming sun does rise and in every finest morning,

A new day then to test our faiths, awaits us, there in our adorning.

Your poem reminded me of the line “Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it yet.” from L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

Hopeful and inspiring.

I thought this poem was beautiful and inspirational. Weathering the storm is something most of us have to do more often than not, but if we are lucky, we see the rewards from staying strong in them. This is all so true. Nice poem!

Life presents us with many trials and storms to weather. Each and every time we gain strength in combating the gale forces that try to tear us down. And each and every time we overcome and prevail.

Thank you for writing this inspiring message. I especially can relate to your thoughts "Each temptation, ours not ever to give in, must everyone so resist. Made stronger by those falls, as then, we may return to steady feet,"
