The Church that would not hide
Though now you see me in all my glory,
once upon a time it was a different story.
I was planted as a seed of hope.
But the Hope roused Evil,
and it came to choke me with it's Master's rope.
So I should no longer have been,
But lo! The Church of Christ is not only what is seen!
Though they had intended for me to die,
This cannot be. I can only thrive!
Indeed I am the Body of Christ,
and what am I, if not Eternal Life?!
The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it!
