The Dichotomy Of A Woman

Insecurities and self doubt

What a man thinks of you is

often too difficult to figure out

Still wondering if I am good enough

to be loved

Too fragile enough to be judge

The dichotomy of a woman defined

Where to draw the silver line of respect

Learning how to accept life short comings

Listening for the drumming of success

Trying to do your best by yourself or

with a significant other

Beautiful enough to become a mother

A woman in all her assets

Life becomes her ultimate test

The dichotomy of a woman
