The Former Champion

I know we're through

but then you

said you

wanted us

to be cool.

Whispers like bees

buzzing wings

bring stings

telling lies

your disease.

Shifting the blame

hiding pain,

deflection

away from

your shame

Washing my hands

understand,

man to man,

the truth:

you're a scam.

You put this vast perception and emotion in a stark reality! Loved it, sorry about its truth... I think it shows the mature choice to end a friendship that needed to be ended. Really striking poetry!
