The Light: A Poem

My mind can't comprehend the pieces laying here,

Shattered by what, I don't understand,

All I know is pointless beside the parts once whole,

In the dark ever since you flipped the switch,

Electricity off, pain within,

There is one tiny pinpoint of light and it is gradually opening,

But just because there's a lightbulb doesn't mean there's an idea,

An inkling of went wrong between two hearts that once beat as one.

We won't comprehend. So faith tells us to trust.
