Some great Souls in poetry

My elegant Conduit, you so eloquently,

Pitch your sweet tone while traversing the atmosphere,

Enlivening and nourishing the Hearts of all.

Thy omnidirectional acoustic waves,

Resonate our words of magic,

And like the sanguine hue rushing though our bodies,

So too, they dance lovingly in our core,

Enthralling us in rapt attention.

O Voice, how I wish to garland you with featured poets,

Slams par excellence and spirited speeches!

Your articulate capsule, modulating the

Delightful frequency of our ambience,

Acoustically augments our sweet vibrations

To all enthusiasts, here at this blessed Poetry Unplugged.

Cute Conduit, you are a lovers’ intonation telephony,

Enhancing the fluency of the spoken word,

Amplifying its charmed expressiveness,

Way into the magnificence of the Soul.

Elegance and Style

O Lantern Carrier, please accept my pranams,

For your most gracious words.

True, a Me tuned to distinction, borders on the sublime!

I add Grace, panache and finesse,

To all those who epitomise the way of diction.

I serve the weavers of enunciation; the romantics, the dramatics …

But especially love the dark Knights,

With soppy sojourns to convey.

But Lantern, when troubled by sensitivity and impedance,

I can be so revolting as to embarrass myself,

That the virgin hopefuls quake, revealing their blushes;

Most certainly not enamoured by my dire difficulties.

O Lantern, I especially love the serene, soft-spoken angels,

For, like a running river, I add zest and vibrancy to their moods;

Mellifluous tones to their tongues, so much so,

That even dreamers and lovers in dark corners,

Come out of their self-styled reverie.

Rumi on Love

O Voice, how I miss you when you’re not here.

It is then that I long to caress your charming silhouette,

Dance in your reflection – A paragon of all that’s noble,

And sparkles with the radiance of the Light.

O my welcome Saviour, soar with me, like the eagle.

Let your cadences work their magical symphonies,

Casting a spell of laughter and delight in every face.

Let me be drunk with your rhapsody, swaying; bobbing

And weaving into the Spirit of every man, woman and teenager,

Here at Poetry Café.

Come! Let me embrace you,

my lover, my darling, my Microphone.

As always, Manatita, beautiful words that carry you to a peaceful place. I don't know how you come up with such a lovely ambiance. I don't know if that is the correct word to use, but that's what your words feel like to me; like beautiful ambiance that can light a dark room. Many Blessings. :)

"And like the sanguine hue rushing through our bodies"...

Music is in the blood. It motivates us, keeps us afloat, and raises us from the depths we create for ourselves. Music is the Universal language. Through music we can connect, no matter what language we speak. Music is the Soul and the Soul is Music.

I would have loved to have seen an "all of the above" option in your poll, Manatita. Too bad HP doesn't give us an option to "check all that apply".

Yes Missy. I'm happy with it. A great word. Much Love to you and the children, and remembering you all at this festive time. Deep gratitude ...

Thanks, Billy. I appreciate your sweet sentiments. Peace and Beauty! I like that. have a great family weekend, my Brother.

I appreciate this. Well, I did my Christmas one last night. I even began 'Silent night' and they all joined in. Cool, eh? Are you 'festivally' ready? I think that I just created this word. (smile). Have a great weekend Ruby.

I'll still take that 'all of the above' from your sweet Heart. Yes, the Universal Language, and indeed my Teacher's words also. Do you like this sanguine bit. You know I create them all. I steal them from the ether.

Love to you this beautiful weekend, and stay safe when shopping. Much Love.

Hi Dee,

Thank you so much! Well, I've done a few hills and mountains myself. Too young now, but lets see: Anapurna in Nepal; Kilimanjaro in Tanzania; Snowdon in Wales, UK, and lets not forget the Caribbean. Lots of love this weekend, my dear Friend.

During one of the lectures I attended at ISKCON, the speaker said that a microphone is a material thing but the same microphone when being used for speaking words of God, or singing the names of God then this microphone is spiritual.

Your beautiful words have elevated microphone to a revered object...a spiritual object!

Very, very nice! A beautiful tribute to microphone and yes, of course, music. I wonder how our life would be without music! Music is a natural medicine; a natural healer – the Divine one. Oh, Manatita! You have graced this poem with such beauty that I fail to extract words from the ocean of rhythm and music. Om Shanti.

The microphone has a lot more to it than most people would ever dream. Nicely done, and the overtones are perfect.
