Using music for a diversion

Turning to food to subdue our passions
Few can resist to flex their muscles when push comes to shove
Only when you think you have control you know you don't
Eating old marshmallows that were pushed way in back of the kitchen cabinet
Realizing that they can last forever
Turning to our greatest passion
Finding connections we have never seen before
Opening up our mind where the unlimited is welcome
Touching upon the mysteries that have baffled past generations
Only to realize some things are better off left alone
Responding to our pets with all the love and affection
Waiting as they share a bond that is so strong
If only we could have that same connection with all people
