The Rising Storm - Calling Forth The Final Battle

blogs.reuters.com
blogs.reuters.com

The storm is rising.

The time is nigh,

a call on the horizon,

the last goodbye.

~

The ancient ones awake

from slumber eons old.

The end is coming

long ago foretold.

~

The dark ones rise.

The witches they fly.

All come together

hearing the battle cry.

~

Angels take shape

from earthly form.

Creatures of light make haste,

an army to be born.

~

The storm is rising.

The time is nigh,

the battle to awaken

the final goodbye.

~

good and evil,

dark and light,

each coalesces together

deep in the night.

~

It’s coming faster,

almost here,

the final battle,

what causes fear,

~

the end to all things.

The birth cycle unfolds

the beginning of new life,

stories yet untold.

~

The fifth dimension

in the birth canal,

time holds its breath,

nothing to be left bereft.

~

The storm is rising.

The time is nigh.

The final battle calls

for the last goodbye.

~

The ancients knew it long ago

now is the time for blood to flow.

A sacrifice for the birth of a dream,

what was will exist but for a scream.

~

Each side gathers in polar regions

gathering together the last of its creatures.

The mythical beings of long ago,

the mythos of dreams dying slow,

~

the blood of screams,

the eyes of our minds,

in the end none will stand

but die at the other’s hand.

~

Long ago foretold

it’s part of the plan

all goes into the new

ingredients of cosmic stew.

~

Tonight each one slew

a fellow being with baited breath.

Some even knew

as if dying on cue.

~

The storm is here.

The time is nigh.

The battle begins.

Our time ends.

~

The blood and the screams

they go for pain

giving birth to a new time

no longer man’s to reign.

~

Each life lost was but a gene

strung out in a pattern new.

Hatred and greed slew

what mankind once knew

~

taking all else with him in the end

for all he ever did was sin.

As the blood and bone

mix with the terror and fright

~

a new creature will be born

with the dawn’s first light,

born of man’s pain

along with others he had no right to claim.

~

From each only the best is taken

breathe now and awaken

A new being to stand strong.

So the universe will carry on

~

with a youngling creature leading the way

and man only an experiment gone astray.

What was good will carry on

in the new seat of hope's form,

~

Long may she be strong.

I don't think goo andevil can clash because, at the extreme they are the same. Fundimentalists of any religion believe they are the ultimate good and they tend to do the most harm.

Micky ~ Haha roflmao :) Too funny.

Pete ~ You are not alone if the thought that ultimatley they are the same. I don't agree, but to each his own. I do however agree with your statement about extremists of any religion doing the most harm and find it highly ironic that while religion always talks about love it has been the cause of so many wars, so much death.

I mean I look at your work and go back to mine, as mine compels me to flush it down the toilet, compared to your creative war demonic poetics, my work is only a figment of imagination.

Dearest DarkDisOrder ~ I sense you are in a funk. Your work is wonderful please do not ever think of flushing it! We all, or at least I know I do, go through times of doubt and feeling that what I produce sucketh in an epic way... it's part of the process I guess. You know I love your writes and hit them as soon as I know they are there. Don't doubt the talent that is you.

Saleheensblog ~ Thanks for dropping in and commenting. I too think a final battle will occur, I do not, however agree that nothing new will be created, just my take on it of course. A law of science, sorry I don't remember the name or originator, states that energy is never lost and I agree w/ this. Religous sources would indicate that something comes after the end as well. Again, this is just my personal thoughts and I do thank you for sharing yours. :) Peace be with you.

You have the hammer, your pen, you have your ideals, your paper. I applaud this work. Why? Because of its' sheer dimensions.. You're words are like a hammer fall on an anvil meting out words into swords. You have perfected, in my humble opinion, a hybrid quality of Norse poetry.. Pounding.... Hammering. Muse, I love it a lot, Sincerely So, Matt aka little inky =;)

poetvix I just wanted to congratulate you on 100 fans or followers or whatever you want to call them. One of these years I might catch up to you ! I am not sure about reincarnation but I kinda hope not. I am already tired ! And I hope St Peter says come on in !

Tony ~ I love that you came by and thanks bunches for the congrads. I think you are way ahead of me, I have read you hubs! They rule.

I don't know about the reincarnation thing either and again I'm w/ ya in that I want to go through the pearly gates and stay there.

I have been fascinated lately though by the idea of no energy ever being lost and thats kinda what this fictional journey was about... the idea of a final showdown and all the energy that was released being channeled by the universe into a new creature to take the place of humans... I have a strange mind, I know.

Love the subject, Addicted to the scary and macabre. Like these the best.

The storm is rising.

The time is nigh,

a call on the horizon,

the last goodbye.

~

The ancient ones awake

from slumber eons old.

The end is coming

long ago foretold.

Friendly suggestion, there is no constant rhythm, it's constantly changing, this could be much better. I see the talent and the images. Don't stop working on this one, I like it and I see it's possibilities.

Yes, they tell us,a law of physics, mater and energy are the same thing and neither can either be created or destroyed, only changed from one to the other. I believe this, reincarnation is crap, yet people are immortal, death is but a change. Pearly gates? Gates or not, I hope to see you there.

God bless you.
