The Seasons In Socks - Haiku
I love socks. I find them oddly comforting. A good pair of socks can brighten my day or send me off to cozy sleep. Take a journey from Spring to Winter as you follow these socks from little girl to adult.
Lacey. Delicate.
Inside patent leather shoes.
Easter egg hunting!
Tucked away in pairs.
Impatiently wait for shoes.
Grass blades between toes.
Knee high. Bright bold stripes
meet the hem of pleated skirt.
Rustle through the leaves.
Thick wool soft and warm.
Two pairs mingle by the fire.
Snow on windowsill.
