The Solace of Wishful Darkness (2006)

The Solace of Wishful Darkness

The moment of solace, the silent drop of time

The unheard pause before the inevitable

The slow moving whiskers past the falling leaves

The depth of the crux that surmounts importance

The subtle yet motivated cortex that’s striving

This collective ambivalence that was never there

The unsought moment that determines two poles

The moment so sought after went into oblivion

The darkness prevailed in the stir of more suspicion;

It survived longer than the expectation of light

The wishful heart could not await the unknown

The unknown was inevitable, yet so effervescent

The moment in solace that could feel the silent drop

This moment followed with more wishful darkness
