Vessels from which ignites a spark,
that is all we are, an earthly spectre of light.
Fashioned in like of blood, an image,
within which grows a seed.
The seed is a potential, enlivened with grace,
and all that is both omniscient and destructive.
What we are, often in disguise,
walks life unknowing of its latent possibility.
Ignorant of its state of being, humanity lives,
enraptured by the shell of physical existence.
The essence more often a reflection of body,
not the emergence of soul.
Preoccupied with frivolous details of personality,
humanity searches for acceptance and assurance.
Unknowing of the possibility of perfection,
that awaits, beyond physical, tucked deep within its folds.
How beautiful the challenge,
to recognise what we are in essence,
to acknowledge the spark of which we are a part,
and to focus life within it.
Then, the shell becomes the reflection,
the synergy of essence and expression.
Beauty then resides within life’s manifestation,
and eclipses all potentials as blissful being.
