The Spiritual Surfer: A Sonnet.
Waves rolling upwards, I’m surfing on their crest,
Snowflakes descend in greeting at my Love’s behest.
Soaring towards Heaven, my pangs now left below,
No more turbulence of waves, pure cosmic waters flow.
The firmament sings sweetly, sends out a shooting star,
To guide and welcome me, a guest, coming from afar.
My Heart-Door opens gladly, bathed by His sweetest Love,
I surf on flakes of Gratitude, floating High above.
I glide into the sweetness, the glory of His might,
From yon Palace portals come, a thrill and wondrous sight.
Surfing, rising, roaring; soaring, on wings of purest Bliss,
I dance with immortality, that birthless, deathless kiss.
The melody of Flautists, bid me welcome to the Light;
I drink in joyful gratitude, the Mother of Delight.
