Teenagers
Teenagers
What a bliss to live life as teenager carefree,
Like fire it blazes and twirls in twig as a leaf.
Like water it evaporates instant into the wind,
How inclined and eager to sit on embers red.
Listless go the frames bereft of the sap within,
Keeps moving toward perils to tarry in the awe.
How a flower gets severed from the tender stem,
Stretching the neck to kiss the stroke too close.
Dense clouds venture into the raging lightening,
Earnest to play in the rains and take the fires on.
The world waging war against the tides of time,
Sips dreams of days in hand and days to come.
When the guys smolder in piques and squabbles,
Disposed to vanish into gusts of eruptive hugs.
When decor and peace in lands burn the minds,
Embraces the chaos, gives blows to comforts.
A teenager bereft of an iota of fear in his mind,
Deems the worth of life to appear and go instant.
What a passion to lose the self in innocent crush !
What an eye to glance Heaven in a tender touch !
A bird cannot forget the fledgling leaving the nest,
A river the giant leap from the pinnacle of a glacier.
Teenage comes in life as spring sprouts in a year,
Like fragrance it fleets, as aroma it winks away.
