The Sweetest Sister Ever: A Poem For Amy
I am so blessed to have such an amazing sister. Not only is she my sister, but one of my best friends. She is so sweet, kind, sensitive, and generous. She has one of the most compassionate hearts that I know of. She's always ready to help another out. She feels others' pain and cries with them when they cry--and laughs with them when they laugh. She is also totally funny! I have countless memories of laughing and goofing around with my sister. Amy, want to do a little "super spy?" :-)
This is the one with tears of love,
With words that express the Father above.
Hands that help because of a heart that beats,
With love for each one she sees on the streets.
Sensitive and sweet, and full of compassion,
She cares for her family, with dedication and passion.
Amy, the little peanut, all grown up tall (or perhaps still quite small),
With her own little peanut to love, so sweet and so small!
Merry Christmas Amy!
