Wasteland

The wasted years

The wasted thoughts

The nights left my heart

To burden

Cannot repair the damage

Of my wasted love

A heart dragged through

Grimy

Diseased

Mud

Left beaten

Left behind

Never thought it would end

Never thought you could make me

Feel cold

Never thought I would feel so

Abandoned

Never thought I would feel

So old

Left behind among all the rot

Left with your disease festering

Within

Leaving me

Have not

A burden wasteland lies here

No more to give

A testament to the ruin

Your heart left me

Skeletons

Lying near

Know what a shattered heart feels like.

I could just about smell the dust and feel the wide, barren emptiness of the land all around. Great choice of image, too.

"A heart dragged through

Grimy diseased mud"

Amazing imagery. It is terrible when someone we love does this or die we allow it to happen. Either way it hurts.

Voted up and awesome

Take care :)
