The dove and the ant

The Dove and the Ant

One day a dove was sitting on a tree on the tank. An ant was moving along the bank. Suddenly it fell down into water. It tried to come out of the water, but failed. It was in danger.

The dove saw the ant and wanted to save it. It picked up a leaf and threw it down to the ant on the water. The ant slowly got up on the leaf. Soon the leaf got to the bank with the ant. Thus the dove saved the ant from danger.

An hour passed. The dove was still on the branch of the tree. A hunter came that way and saw the bird.  He wanted to shoot it down. He bent his bow and was ready to aim at the dove.  The poor bird did not see the hunter. Now it was in danger.

The ant saw the hunter. It wanted to save its friend. It slowly went to the hunter. It stung his foot. The hunter throw down the bow and arrow in pain.  The bird saw the hunter and flew away.  Both dove and the ant lived as friends from that time.
