The earth turns anyway.....

Source

The spinning of the earth the speed
of light

Gravity pulls all our strings yet
the conclusion's just about right

Biological attractions create thier own
set of mysterious illusions

I turn away and avoid her eye's
lost in my lone delusions

I'm way ahead of you my dear
and not just in age

My moon cycle is waning
I've no will to engage

So I'll just touch your hand and share
for one lone moment

Maybe it will all go away
one final lament

She says ....."I don't know what I want , and I don't
know what to dream"

That's okay my lovely .....I feel nothing of love
it's all about what I've seen

Voted up and awesome. Sometimes it feels like the years are spinning by too fast.

This kind of pulls my heart strings, I hope the love figures out how to make things work. Good poetic verse on questions of love.

Passionate as ever, yet so very sad and indifferent in its own way. Write more dear, write it all away. :)

Oh-h-h- - Not much to say in comment, except that - as you are wont to do - you've said what you sat down to say so very well and with no words wasted!

ps - I hope you'll take a look at the hub I just published, (A Presence of Mine) if for no other reason than to see and hear the video I included: - "The Earth".

And we have seen plenty though with different eyes. Up, Beautiful.

Your last line says it all. Very nice, as usual. I really like "it's all about what I've seen." That really is so true. An unknown source wrote, "Life isn't about searching for yourself, it's about creating yourself." That's kind of what your last line reminds me of. Thumbs up.
