The symphony of Life
The bullfrog drums in its melodious beat, as in a nightime serenade,
The rain frogs join in to share the sounds, about the glen and glade.
Rhythmic crickets and birds exchange chit-chats, a musical cascade,
Wild racoons chatter, beavers kerflop, ending a fine refrain's parade.
The notes of a lonesome loon, an egret's cries, hoot owls all soon join in,
One disgruntled goose, on the loose, quacking ducks flutter, about then.
A slithering snake creates a wake, turtles bob, as a fish swirls in disarray,
Our cacophony of swamp critters, galore, upon every listening ear, to play.
This haphazard presentation, deserves an ovation, staccato verses in tow,
Each precious creation, in its own habitation, there in its sanctuary to know.
A visitor's fond delight, in the middle of the night, on memories all to bestow,
Ever welcoming, its music, a symphony of sounds, within our hearts to grow.
