The Storm

Dark lights fill my soul.

They weigh me down like a tombstone.

Thunder announces my death.

The universe sings my elegy.

In my hands, I carry two stones.

One stone with black lettering

says and represents HOPE.

The other stone with black

lettering says and represents

FAITH. I crawl out of my grave,

out of my darkness, and tell

the universe that I am alive.

I see white lights filled

with hope, and my soul flies

like the wind. I play

with the clouds. I know

more storms will come.

My HOPE and FAITH

will aid me through the darkness.

Wow. Lovely. I'm not much for poetry, but this touched.

I love this poem about the power of Hope and Faith. You could easily put together a wonderful book of poetry!
