The Sunset (poem)

Together we will touch the sunset

Of a moment too real to be real

And savor what a heart can conceal

From a day that has brought in this night

-

Searching the oceans of reasons why

Which has lead us away to meet here

So strange how they all disappear

In the veils of ever drifting sands

-

But here are we lost in something’s touch

Lost amid breezes we didn’t plan

Lost outside how this journey began

Maybe the sunset holds the answer

-

So we listen to each stroke of light

Each whisper in the silence all around

Each sand of heaven marvels at the sound

Reaching out across some long ago

-

There united missed remember when

There it was forever’s place in time

We touched endless meaning of sublime

And the sunset of that special kiss

Really lovely, Mh, that special kiss is hard to forget and leave glorious memories in the sunset of that special kiss. What an amazing and beautiful video too.

Up and more and sharing

God bless, Faith Reaper

Being in love takes us to other worlds.

We can count ourselves the fortunate ones

to have lived in this special time and space reserved for lovers.

You brought it home, on this one!

That timeless eventide of twilight reticence holds many secrets....waiting for the echoes of her barely discernible whispers are the drug which oftentimes keep the pen moving and animates the poet's velveteen chambers of reply, with the thudding laud of feint drums , awaiting the empyrean candle of impassioned brilliance conceived by another blessed, impending dawn to shower forth clues upon the beams of her bounty.

A very pleasant read Mhatter.

All the Best,

The world of young love is set apart and the lines between reality and bliss are lost in the mists of romance. A lovely poem.
