Them And Us
Honoring beliefs by their practice in our lives.
Fragmented in our beliefs....
"Them" and "Us"...can we always be "We"?
I like them.
I’m not sure they like us.
I like the humility showing in their form of prayer.
I’m not sure they like the way we take it for granted and often go without it.
I like their modesty.
I’m not sure they have any respect for our flaunting of the human body.
I like their respect for what they consider to be God’s words.
I’m not sure they find our dusty Bibles speak well of some of our faiths.
I like their approach to physical health and cleanliness.
I’m not sure they want to shake our hands.
I like their unity divided by two.
I’m not sure they respect our rampant individualism.
I appreciate that God loves them.
I’m not sure they think He could ever love us as we are.
I like the good examples they sometimes set.
I’m not sure they think we have much to offer.
