There Is Nothing Like A Breeze Blowing In The Car Window

Refreshing And Invigorating

No matter how my day is going

My life changes for the better in an instant

Give me that highway drive

Cruising along about 70

All four windows down

There I am

My world just consists of two things

Me and the wind

I tilt my head to the side

I feel the power

Tickling the top of my head and every hair

I lose myself in the moment

The cool air blasting against my face

Old memories come flashing back

When I was no older than seven

My father was driving and both me and my brother sat in the back seat

Mom always had the front spot right beside dad

Both of us like a dog

With our heads out the car windows as far as they would go

Enjoying the ride

We didn't care if we ever got where we were going

To this day I can still hear the shhhhhhh sound echoing in my head

It is at that very moment

Nothing else matters

Driving along feeling the breeze

Just give me that open highway

Life never felt so great

Voted up and up and up. Completely agree. In my NYC days along the highways I never wanted AC turned on in the car. Always the wind blowing in through the windows.
