There Once Was A Man Named Willy

There once was a man named Willy

Whose antics would drive you silly.

He ran the whole show

And wouldn’t you know

He hopes you’ll vote for his filly!

To cap it all off

She now has a cough.

She got it from him

While taking a swim,

In waters increasingly rough.

She’ll be just fine I am sure

With motives increasingly pure.

So that strutting her stuff

It will be just enough

To show that she’s the real doer.

The moral is this:

What starts with a kiss,

The longer it lingers and stays,

(No matter her wiles or her ways)

She could stay just “Willy’s Miss”.

What started with a kiss....

Hello my friend. I'm sure this was not the Willy of the Chocolate factory. Let's all hope the good Lord is watching over all in the next presidential election. whonu

I am not so sure "the good Lord" would not just as soon "overlook" them.

We all need a little limerick levity from time to time, and a lot of faith in God and the Atonement ALL the time. God bless America.

We need to laugh in the midst of this serious political uncertainty. Thank you.

MsDora - Sometimes this year I have wondered if even the candidates are taking this election seriously. Perhaps they should try more levity?

This is absolutely delightful. Definitely shared on FB. Thanks for the notice. Everything fine here. Our pumpkins are growing in leaps and bounds. Wishing you and yours a quiet and relaxing Sunday.

Gypsy Rose Lee - I thought you might like this one. For those who might think I am biased (they're right now) I did one on Mr. Trump too.
