These Candles

These candles light the dark. They are as sweet as pears

Their fragrance taint the air with old spices pass down from generations.

They are a family tradition.These candles have become sacred as a bible verse

They stand alone at night undeterred in the distance like lilies faint beauty.They know no pain

dead as sound, they illuminate without much work

These candles become the meaning of peace

A quite luxury to the daring eye of love
