What is happening to us in America? Why are we portraying scenes from an apocalyptic chapter of the Bible? Can we get out of these sinful life we are facing ourselves, and living it day by day?

We will see through events that we all might know about, but flagrantly look the other way, just to "avoid" more problems. "You mean trying to do the 'quick fix' in an ethereal quicksand?" Just remember, we are one Nation under God. From Paul Revere until way before Watergate, this United States was blessed as "United," and not divided.

Technology, sinfully, has separated everybody to their own egocentric needs. We hate to help others and curiously, there has been a connection between modernity, obesity and selfishness. How can we revert the trend? It would actually take a miracle, because as we said before, the genes from that gone hard working America has been dying from generation to generation.

In the early 30's, it was hard to earn a single dollar. You would have to wake up before dawn and do the land or walk some miles to school. Radio was a luxury and forget about all the gadgetry we take for granted today.

The patient called Motherland, the one our founding fathers knew and cherished, is really sick. Is just a miracle that we still live on solid ground. Sadly, we have witnessed immorality and corruption left and right. Here are just some random examples and you might've heard about them more than once. Or maybe you will find out with us:

Here is Senior Financial advisor "Tom Double D" giving "new hires" the insights of legal scamming. Well, is not only in America for sure.

"If possible, offer that extended warranty or push for that extended service contract. Just remember guys, your sale commission gets better if you follow my advice. I cannot stop reminding you this sacred rule: confiscate graciously their social number to get their credit report, this way we can be able to bump the interest rate by two points, if they do not qualify! You are here to sell and not to look at these beautiful balloons!! Did any of you get the doughnuts and coffee ready?"

Peter K. wanted to hire a lawyer to fight against excessive child support increases from his ex. Travis D. an ex attorney for the city, offered his services for $250. Why so cheap? The damn Lawyer had three hearings at the same time, and of course he didn't mind adding Peter to his "important corporate list." In the end nothing was done and the lawyer came late for Peter K's family court hearing. Case closed! "This will pay for my mistress vacation and my daughter's tuition. Tired of hearing of my ex!"

We love that green waste collector who is becoming more of a household name. We go to Walmart and we see them in the back of their huge parking lot. We go to the dentist and... if we look behind the parking space in a corner, we see a neatly fenced dumpster. Are we used to the green container?

So many families depend on their jobs, so why interrupt their business? All is fine and generating revenue, and the green house effect is reduced for the benefit of us all. But, as you see America has been dangerously "recycled" by these financial giants. Taking over of small companies has been the norm. "You don't like it? Join us or else."

Lobbyists were born in order to keep interests and investments safe. After all, Uncle Sam depends on corporate "managements" that keep the system going. Can you imagine a department of recycling and Energy? Washington would become a big dumpster in a minute.

"Well, offer them green cash and tell them that we will take care of them. Just remind them that their diesel-fueled trucks are already in violation of OSHA and EPA codes. Yeah! Our landfills are doing much better.. For God's sake, they better accept our proposal or they will be isolated by our lawyers and legal procedures. They have no choice."

If you go to visit your elder relative in a nursing home, you most likely will see them all drugged out, "just to keep them calm and rested." If we check deeper, we will see drugs from corporate giants that made kickbacks to doctors, "just to help your place and your pocket." Ever wonder why you get free samples from your family physician?

The Pharmaceutical schemers along with the so called by us, "terrorist hospitals," have been killing half of our country. 911 is just a small cry of 2,754 lives against 200,000 deaths a year. Is funny to see and witness just a corporate fine and a slap on the wrist from Uncle Sam to these assassins. Just a little bad media here and there and ciao!

Drug companies get away with their crimes and face no real consequences for bribery, corruption, marketing fraud, scientific fraud, intimidation of really caring scientists or elaborate financial kickback schemes. Gone are the old days when grandma had the answer to every pain and illness for us. Actually they were taken away by your physician and the health-care (hell of a care) system.

From a Pfizer Corporate manager in Groton CT: "No! we've reached our carrying capacity! We cannot advertise like that anymore. Just a few years ago, we were hit with a record $1 billion settlement with the Justice Department for engaging in fraudulent drug advertising... so let Johnson & Johnson, and Merck Sharpe and Dohme make the mistake. We've learned the hard way pal."

If you read Billybuc's hubs and Cloud Explorer's plea, you will agree that America is ready for a shake down. Are we ready to become part of history? Do we want the best for our new generations? Can we start sharing our wealth with the needy? After all, there is someone looking through the clouds. Above all, we all will not be able to take a single penny to the skies...

The first picture above is not fake and the rays cut through the clouds right on time. Was that a powerful sign? Did we write this hub alone? Was this just a sudden inspiration.
