Through the Endless Pains of Living
Sadness falls for wounded mates,
Who live and love by rules of fate.
Knowing not what once went wrong,
Fighting tears as we hear love songs,
Thankful souls for what is given,
Through the endless pains of living;
Years have passed us by too fast.
Romance is buried deep in the past.
As the youthful years of yesterday,
Slowly leaves and drifts away,
Hang on to that little spark,
Don’t let sadness make it dark.
Love is seen much different now,
Old hearts weak can mend somehow,
Hold on to what has never gone,
Just discard what seems so wrong.
Lost hearts need to shine again.
No regards to now and then,
Listen to what your heart needs,
Lessons learned are loyalty.

Ask his fans; ask his friends, his skills are surely heaven sent. A poem inspired by the king of Rock and Roll. Elvis is forever in my heart.
