Time Treads On

Misdirection into belief

manipulation of the weak

Weakened state

of broken ways

of thinking

thoughts of ending

one's own life

before their time

has come

and passed

before their eyes

to swiftly flash

reminding them

of times they try

to remember

to forget

Controlled burn
a smile
concealing truth
a motive
a reason
to hide

Caging the blaze
within a body
of stone will
willing to end
willing to take
to survive

The subtle scent
of intent of death
relinquishing morality
embracing humanity
embracing continuity
the prolonging of life

points of contact
transferred in touch
passed on
from one
to another
goose bumps
up the spine
of recipients
of lust

Thoughtful and philosophical messages. Love the sensual moments, they balance the 'tough' stuff good =)

The music of BULB is the perfect accompaniment. Your words are lyrics like those of Jim Morrison of The Doors. He died at 27 but not before placing his poetry and lyrics in the mainstream of human consciousness which is where your words belong. Find a band and recite your words aloud. You are and can be a phenomenal anything!

This reminds me of when I decided to give life another chance.

The last one is how you feel when you begin to live again.

I especially like the line ..."of times they try to remeber to forget. " We all have times like that. I say 'Ardie, no more thinking about this. Just bury it deep and stand firm on it'.
