Time - our most precious commodity.
Time is our most precious commodity.
Every person is given the same amount to spend in each 24-hour period.
It cannot be “rolled over” into the next day or “added on” to the end of one’s life.
It is spent entirely in that 24-hour period.
Some people spend their time attaining vast wealth and fame.
Some spend their time in a quest for pleasure and fulfillment.
Others spend much of their time cultivating closer, deeper relationships with family and friends.
Still others waste the precious time they have been given, and wonder how and why their lives have passed them by.
There are a few gems in this world that have chosen to spend their time in pursuit of making the world a better place.
Perhaps by feeding the hungry or helping those in need. Reaching out to the hopeless and helpless; replacing a frown with a smile.
They have given freely of the precious commodity of their time, and for that, the world is a better place.
Opportunities abound for you to spend your time. Remember it is invaluable, it is limited.
When you lay your head down to sleep tonight, ask yourself this question.
How did I spend my time today?
